Bounced flash & Off camera flash ⋆·˚ ༘ *

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

In today's lab, we used the off camera flash and tried to bounce it off of the walls and ceiling in order to achieve different outcomes for our photographs. Here are some of my favourite photographs that I've taken:

For this photograph, I turned the off camera flash upwards towards the ceiling, and this was the outcome! I really like how my friend's cardigan pops against the darkened background.

I found it quite difficult to capture a harsh shadow, however, I managed to achieve this effect when I turned the camera upside down!

While trying to achieve a harsh shadow effect, I took a couple of shots with the off camera flash facing my friend, and I'm really happy with the outcome since the photograph isn't too dark nor too bright.

I took this with the off camera flash facing away from my friend. I think that this photograph could definitely be a bit brighter, but it turned out nice nonetheless!

Overall, I found this lab really enjoyable and I'm very proud with all of the photographs that I managed to take!
