Deconstruct & Recreate ❀

This week, I've resourced a photograph from the internet and I deconstructed it's contents in order to recreate it and make it my own. Here is the outcome of my recreation:

Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome of my photograph. I think that the colours blend into one another very nicely, and I like my placement of props and makeup.

However, there are a couple things I could improve on, such as lighting accuracy. In comparison to the original image, my lighting turned out to be a lot softer. I also wish that there was a little more exaggeration brought to the gold leaf that I had placed beside my model's eye, since it's a lot more dim and unnoticeable than I would've liked.

This was a very enjoyable assignment to work on, and I'm excited to create more projects in the photography studio!
